The United Nations Development Programme in Somalia (UNDP Somalia) under the Joint Programme for Local Governance and Decentralised Service Delivery (JPLG) in cooperation with the District Council of Garowe and Bosasso is hereby undertaking a solicitation of RFQs from the eligible and qualified construction companies to undertake the following civil/construction works:-Garowe District1. Kalabeyr Village Construction of Village Market place 2. Reebanti Village Construction of Health post 3. Hodan Village Construction of community center 4. Waberi Village Construction of Garbage collection point 5. Barwaqo Village Construction of two shallow water wells 6. Wadajir Village Construction of Garbage collection point 7. Cuun Village Construction of Health post Bosasso District 1. Dayaha Village Construction of Garbage collection point 2. Grible Village Construction of 9 Community Latrines 3. Wadajir village Construction of Health post 4. Grible Ubax Construction of community center 5. October Village Construction of Garbage collection point 6. Kalabayr Village Rehabilitation of Water reservoir 7. Yalho Village Construction of elevated water tank The RFQ’s are available from the UNDP Sub-office in Garowe from December 28, 2009 to January 17, 2010. All RFQ must be completed as described in the “Request for Quotation” and delivered in a sealed envelope levelled “RFQ for -----------“at the sealed tender box in UNCC, Garowe at or before 12:00 Hrs on 18th January 2010. The RFQ’s will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 15.00 Hrs on 18th January 2010 at UNDP sub office in Garowe.
