Construction of a Slaughterhouse in Bosasso

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Rapid Response Rehabilitation of Rural Livelihoods Project (RRRRLP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for the construction of one slaughterhouse in Bosasso, Puntland State of Somalia.

The FAO Somalia Office now invites sealed bids from qualified bidders to compete for the construction of this slaughterhouse in Bosasso. The anticipated construction period is four months upon contract signing.

Bidding will be conducted through a competitive tender procedure as per the rules and regulations of FAO.

All bids must be delivered to the address below by 14.00 h, noon, Nairobi time, on 18th February 2010. They will be opened immediately thereafter. The bid opening will not be public. Late bids will be rejected.
