NRC is willing to implement construction projects in Puntland for the year 2010. The projects include construction/Rehabilitation of schools to be implemented in Bari, Nugal and Mudug regions.

 Important instructions to Tenders:

Only qualified, local contractors, eligible to engage in contractual activities in Puntland under the requirement of the Puntland Law are allowed and having their base in above regions is invited to submit their profiles for prequalification. 

The documents to be submitted by the contractors shall include but not limited to the following documents:

·        A valid contractor’s license from the Ministry of public works 2010.

·        A valid license from Municipality of Bosaso /Garowe /Galkayo, highlight the interested region 2010.

·        Clearance of all tax claims from Ministry of Finance 2010.

·        A list of works of previously executed by the contractor for the last 5 years with a cetificicates indicating of the party for whom such works have been carried out.

·        Profile of the company including the list of staff qualification, list of equipment.

The deadline for submission of documents will be 31st of January 2010, no later than 12:00 pm to NRC offices in Bosaso and Galkayo.  The documents will be opened and evaluated by a Joint Committee consists of NRC, Ministry of Education, Bosaso  Municipality and Ministry of Public Work at 10:00 am local time, on 15th of February 2010 at the NRC office Bosaso. Tenderers or their agents are invited to be present at the opening of the documents.
