Marketable skill Training
Activity: Productive skills including ( Electricity, Carpentry, Plumbing, Bakery sweet production and Mobile Phone repairing and maintenance) for livelihood groups for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS) in Bosaso settlement.
Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, humanitarian organization covering all aspects of the refugee cause. Under the livelihoods program DRC will provide training to IDPs in general for beneficiary’s capacity building and sustainability of the projects. Interested Local NGOs, Community Based Organizations, are requested to submit a proposal describing • Organizations updated profile • Experience in the delivery of the skills mentioned above. • Duration and method of training • Trainers C.V • Training Module approved by the government • Proposed training cost • 2010 Registration letter • 2010 certification letter from the ministry of education a) Minimum Qualifications: The trainer must be certified and experienced trainer with minimum qualification productive skills above mention with extensive experience in conducting, preferably among communities that are not literate Skills to be trained Based on the training needs assessment, the skills trainer(s) will conduct the training on productive skills • Electricity/cooling • Plumbing /Carpentry and furniture making • Bakery, cakes pastries ands sweet production • Mobile phone repairing
Interested organizations are requested to submit their requirements and profile to the DRC Bossaso office on or before 12th July, 2010, 5: 00 pm all proposals should be deposited at the DRC tender box before 16.00 hours. Any application submitted after the deadline will automatically be rejected. All applicants must indicate in their application what types of skills they have the capacity to train |
